Fendi was founded in Rome in 1925 as a small fur workshop by Adele and Edoardo Fendi, and in 1965 it welcomed Karl Lagerfeld as creative director: he is responsible for the famous double F logo, which according to brand legend was conceived in less than five seconds. The production of this item bears the Lozza signature, founded in 1878 and recognized as the oldest eyewear company in Italy: a pioneer of celluloid lenses in the 1920s and folding frames in the 1930s, Lozza represents the Italian manufacturing excellence that in the 1970s and 1980s produced frames for major fashion houses.
