One of the most curious anecdotes related to La Perla concerns the world of cinema: in 2006, actor Daniel Craig wore a Grigioperla swimsuit from the brand in the 007 film Casino Royale, a collector's item that was auctioned by Christie's in 2012 for over 50,000 euros on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the first James Bond film.
